(HALIFAX, N.S.) - Rachelle Coward of the Saint Mary's Huskies women's basketball team and Cam Critchlow of the UNB Varsity Reds men's hockey team have been named the Subway AUS Athletes of the Week for their respective performances for the period ending Jan. 12, 2014.

Rachelle Coward of the Saint Mary’s Huskies women’s basketball team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 12, 2014.
A first-year masters of criminology student in her fourth year of eligibility from Dartmouth, N.S., Coward was an integral part of two weekend wins for the CIS No. 1-ranked Huskies.
Coward posted 22 points in Friday’s 82-73 victory over the StFX X-Women. She followed this up by posting 20 points in Saturday’s 88-51 win over the UPEI Panthers.
In her first year with the Huskies, Coward currently leads the AUS in three-point shots made with 24. She is second in the conference in total points and points per game.

Year of eligibility: Second
Academic program: BBA
Cam Critchlow of the UNB Varsity Reds men’s hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 12, 2014.
The second-year business student from Summerside, P.E.I. played a crucial part in UNB’s two weekend wins.
Critchlow scored two goals, including the game winner, both in the third period of Saturday’s 4-2 victory over the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus. The Varsity Reds also topped the UPEI Panthers 4-2 Friday night.
