Saint Mary's 2 vs. Dalhousie 4 (Box Score)
(HALIFAX, N.S.) In yet another installment of the cross-town rivalry, the Dalhousie Tigers hosted the Saint Mary's Huskies in Wednesday night hockey action. After giving up an early goal, the Tigers responded with a three-goal first period, and were able to hold the advantage to take the 4-2 win. Chandler Yakimowicz led Dalhousie with both a regular strength and short-handed tally on the night, with teammates Jonathan Cyr and Alex Pawelczyk also getting on the board for the Tigers. Dylan DiPerna scored a powerplay tally just 1:45 into the opening frame for the Huskies, with teammate Taylor Burke scoring a short-handed goal in the loss. UNB 2 vs. UPEI 3 (Box Score)
(CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I.) The UPEI Panthers upset the U SPORTS No. 1 ranked UNB Varsity Reds 3-2 on Wednesday night, with UPEI boasting a balanced attack with eight players recording at least a point. Nathan Yetman, R.T. Rice and Beau McCue each found the back of the net for UPEI, while Marcus Power had a pair of assists. Kris Bennett and Christopher Clapperton (PP) got on the board for the Varsity Reds in the loss. Acadia 1 vs. StFX 4 (Box Score)
(ANTIGONISH, N.S.) In a battle of U SPORTS top ten ranked teams, the No. 2 StFX X-Men defeated the No. 7 Acadia Axemen by a 4-1 score Wednesday evening at the Charles V. Keating Centre on Bell Let's Talk night. After exchanging first period goals, the X-Men netted two in the second period and held on for the win. Matt Needham and Mark Tremaine both scored powerplay goals for the X-Men, with Cole MacDonald and Michael Clarke adding tallies in the victory, while Boston Leier scored the lone goal of the night for Acadia. UPEI 4 vs. Moncton 1 (Box Score
(MONCTON, N.B.) The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus fell 4-1 to the UPEI Panthers Friday evening in Moncton. Sam AulieRyan MacKinnonBeau McCue and Cody Payne were able to get the puck behind Moncton goaltender, Alexi Thibaudeauon 33 shots. StFX 3 vs. Saint Mary's 2 (OT) (Box Score)
(HALIFAX, N.S.) - The StFX X-Men scored quickly in overtime to edge the Saint Mary's Huskies by a 3-2 score in a tight Friday night game at the Halifax Forum. Mark Tremaine tallied the overtime winner for the X-Men just 18 seconds into the extra period, while Adam Stevens added a pair of goals in regulation in the victory. StFX goaltender Chase Marchand picked up the win with 38 saves on the night, and earned Subway Player of the Game honors. Anthony Repaci and Adam Bateman found the net for the Huskies. Acadia 2 vs. Dalhousie 6 (Box Score)
(HALIFAX, N.S.) In AUS men's hockey action at the Halifax Forum, the Dalhousie Tigers defeated the Acadia Axemen 6-2 in a game that was defined and dictated by penalties. Colton Heffley led the Tigers with a powerplay goal, a short-handed empty netter, and an assist in the win. Jonathan Cyr, Josh Worthen, Mike Evelyn (PP), and Alex Pawelczyk (PP) also got on the score board for Dalhousie, with Acadia's Rodney Southam (PP) and Ryan Foss scoring a goal apiece in the loss. Moncton 4 vs. UNB 7 (Box Score)
(FREDERICTON, N.B.) In Atlantic University Sport's battle of New Brunswick, the UNB Varsity Reds defeated the Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleus 7-4 in Fredericton Saturday night. Kris Bennett led the way for the Varsity Reds with a goal and four assists. Christopher Clapperton, Tyler Boland (PP), Alexandre Goulet (SH), Cam Brace, and Stephen Anderson (2) also got on the board for UNB, while Robbie Graham, Samuel Roussy (PP), Jean-Francois Plante, and Vincent Deslauriers put up a goal apiece for Moncton. Read more: Recap
