Reds hand Axemen first loss of the season

The UNB Reds swept their weekend games, with a 2-0 win over the Acadia Axemen on Saturday, and a 4-2 victory over the Aigles Bleus on Sunday.
After falling to the Reds on Saturday, the Axemen bounced back on Sunday to earn a 2-0 victory over the Mounties. 
The Dalhousie Tigers extended their winning streak to three, and remain undefeated after a weekend sweep. The Tigers hosted the Moncton Aigles Bleus on Saturday, earning 2-0 victory, and played host to the Memorial Sea-Hawks on Sunday. They walked away with a 1-0 win to extend their record to 4-0-2 this season.
The StFX X-Men swept their weekend games, starting off with a dominant 11-0 win over the Mount Allison Mounties in Sackville on Friday evening. The X-Men then travelled back to their home turf to host the UPEI Panthers on Sunday afternoon. The X-Men earned a 1-0 victory, extending their record to 4-1-1 on the season.
The Saint Mary's Huskies and and Cape Breton Capers only played one game each this weekend, both walking away with victories. The Huskies earned a 1-0 win over the Sea-Hawks at home on on Saturday, while the Capers earned a 3-0 victory in Sydney over the Panthers.
